Chelsea told it’s “€60 million or nothing” as they prepare to meet club over a number of deals

Chelsea are preparing to meet one club this week where a number of potential transfer deals will be discussed and worked on.

Chelsea and Inter Milan could help each other out quite a bit this summer, with players on either side being of interest to the other, and Inter also in some financial difficulties right now and in need of money incoming.

Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla has the latest on his website, and he mentions goalkeeper Andre Onana, Romelu Lukaku, and Trevoh Chalobah as players of interest who will be spoken about in these meetings.

However, if Chelsea want Onana as their new number one this summer, then they will have to pay Inter’s asking price of €60 million or nothing, because apparently it is that or nothing.

That fee roughly equates to just over £50m, so if Chelsea can go in with a lower base fee and make it up in add-ons, then I think it’s a no brainer. £50m for a top quality keeper in this market is nothing really, and you have to pay if you want quality, especially in such an important position on the pitch. Chelsea must go for it here, and use one of the players Inter like in the deal to sweeten it.
