Chelsea’s triple transfer coup could conclude “this week” after all 3 players accept offers

Chelsea’s wildest dreams are coming through.

The Saudi Arabain league has decided to start spending this summer just as Chelsea decided they want to dump a whole bunch of players, and it’s going to line up perfectly to bail Todd Boehly’s wasteful spending of a year ago out.

Hakim Ziyech, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly are all unwanted at Stamford Bridge, and while we might have been able to sell them in the end, it was likely going to have a long stressful summer of negotiating from a tough position as clubs came to kick their tyres and low ball us, knowing we want them off the books.

But now 3 separate Saudi clubs have arrived en masse at the negotiating table to take them off our hands – Santi Aouna’s latest Tweet says that we could “conclude 3 deals this week” with Ziyech heading to Al Nassr, Koulibaly to Al Hilal and Mendy to Al Ahli.

Vitally all 3 have accepted the offers on personal terms, so it’s just down to Chelsea to conclude deals for the fees.

They won’t get too greedy – they know they’ve been given a real escape rope here, and they won’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Expect deals to be concluded quick time, and then we can move on to continuing to clear up the rest of this monstrously bloated squad before the start of the new season.
