Club propose ridiculous terms to sign Chelsea man, but Blues might not have a choice

Inter Milan have proposed some pretty ridiculous terms to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, according to a report late last night.

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italy had the latest on it, and he explained that Inter are trying to sign Lukaku from Chelsea on loan, but with an obligation to buy rather than an option to buy.

Sources: Chelsea discussed signing former Liverpool striker this transfer window!

That sounds all well and good, until you hear the fee and terms being offered.

Apparently they want to pay just £25m to sign the Belgian international next summer, and they only want to pay that fee over several years!

Lukaku spent last season on loan with the Italian side and reportedly only wants to play for them going forward.

With his high wages and the fact their doesn’t seem to be many other suitors, if Chelsea want him off the books and out the squad, they might not have much choice than to accept Inter’s insulting offer.

  1. Can we not sue him for breach of contract given his stance and comments like we did with that other striker a decade ago or so which we won.
