Club surprisingly ‘still want’ to sign Chelsea man despite director change according to exclusive

Chelsea need to sell players this summer to get players off their books and trim down the squad size.

It looked like they had got the ball rolling fast on this just a week or so ago when news came out suggesting that midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek was in advanced talks to join Serie A side AC Milan.

However, club legend turned director Paolo Maldini was abruptly let go by the club, and it was him who was apparently leading this deal. So that was then left dead in the water and we assumed would not happen.

However, a report today from Football Insider says that the move is still on.

They say that AC Milan still want Ruben Loftus-Cheek and are weighing up new talks. The exit of Paulo Maldini has not put them out of the race.
