Man U the latest club to enter race for Chelsea’s £100m target according to new report

Manchester United are joining the race for Moises Caicedo, according to Sky Sports.

The Ecuador midfielder is by all accounts Chelsea’s top option this summer, and the Blues will be frustrated to see yet another major player enter the race to sign him. We have been strangely slow to wrap things up, although we simply don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes.

Brighton are holding out for £100m according to some reports, and given the strong position they’re in and the major interest from top clubs, they may well get it, or at least come close to getting it.

You can see their report in the clip embedded here:

Arsenal are close to signing Declan Rice from West Ham, and that should remove one major force from the Caicedo race, but if United are replacing them we’re not in any better position than we were.

There’s even talk of Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich being interested.
