Chelsea will announce a new summer signing this week, according to a report today.
The Blues are heavily concentrating on player sales right now but we know they will also be turning their attentions to arrivals as well, and some of these arrivals are deals that have already been done prior to the window opening.
According to CBS insider Ben Jacobs, writing in his latest exclusive and extensive Chelsea FC column for Si & Dan Talk Chelsea today, attacker Christopher Nkunku will be announced as a new player this week.

Nkunku played his final game for RB Leipzig recently, and he will soon be making the journey to London where he will be settling in a new house and at a new club.
It’s become the worst kept secret in football this season, with outlets reporting that Chelsea had done a pre-deal to sign him many months back now, and he will surely add some more quality and spark to a poor performing Chelsea front line.
Well Nkunku, that’s a good signing based on experience and ranking.He’s a rotating attacker who’l really help upfront in case Kai departs.I would suggest we go for Lavia and perhaps look for another cheaper top quality midfielder from Asia or other leagues.
The defence needs a regular rotation as well to strengthen the defensive side with relation to James, Kalidou,Chilwel’s’ injury that affected the blues throught last season. With Broja expected to return next season, there are rumors of Jackson joining the blues during this transfer window.But will this young prodigy be able to thrive under Poch?
