A few weeks ago it seemed that Chelsea had reached pure desperation in their search for a striker as they dipped as low as considering Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Now not only does that seem possible, but we’re even reading a piece on Football Espana questioning whether the Serb would be a good option for Real Madrid.
It’s only speculation on their part, but it does present an interesting idea. Since Kylian Mbappe cmae onto the market 36 hours ago most people have put Madrid at the front of that queue. But the reality is that they may not be able to afford him, and if they can’t, Vlahovic could be on their list.
As it stands though, we don’t see that happening. Los Blancos have made some rogue signings before, but bringing in a guy who has basically flopped for 18 months since stepping up to a top club would be crazy by any standards, unless they were cut an astronomical bargain.
