Moises Caicedo has some big decisions to make, and it sounds like crunch time in his camp.
The midfielder had a brilliant season at Brighton and now has offers from some of the Premier League’s top clubs.
A report from TeraDeportes in his native Ecuador reveals all. It says that Arsenal are first choice because they represent an instant upgrade on the Seagulls. They’re playing in the Champions League and could well mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title again next season. They are described as Caicedo’s “priority” as it stands.

Then comes Chelsea – out of Europe and far further away from challenging domestically too. But the Blues are offering a better deal to Brighton, and very possibly to the player too. Vitally it adds that “in the next few hours” he’s going to hear a proposal of the plans Mauricio Pochettino has for him.
It will have to be some proposal to persuade the youngster he should miss out on his dreams of playing in the Champions League, but we have the financial muscle to tempt any player, and if we can show them that our project has potential, they might just roll the dice on jumping aboard.
Let’s hope that Pochettino has lost none of his old charm as he looks to help Chelsea dust themselves down after getting knocked back over Manuel Ugarte and sort his engine room out for next season.
