Serie A side reigniting interest in £25m rated Chelsea man this summer

Chelsea are cracking through the player sales this summer, and it looks like they have been presented with another chance to sell another player today.

News has been coming out today suggesting AC Milan are back in to sign Blues midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer. This was a potential deal that was being spoken about some weeks back until Milan director Paolo Maldini left the club. But it looks like the Serie A side still want Loftus-Cheek, with The Evening Standard reporting they have reignited their interest in the former England international.

Sources on Midfield: Matheus Nunes, Dominik Szoboszlai, Moises Caicedo, Mohammed Kudus, Romeo Lavia, plus outgoings!

The report claims Chelsea value Loftus-Cheek at £25m but Milan hope they will lower that asking price to around £15m because he only has one year left on his contract.

The Chelsea News View

It will be sad to see Loftus-Cheek leave the club, a player who has never really shown his full potential here. One year left on his deal though, and an opportunity to grab some more cash incoming for us, I think this move would be a good idea for all parties, and he will do great in that league.
