Yesterday saw a medical completed for Chelsea as they look to sign a new striker.
As reported below by David Ornstein of The Athletic, Nicolas Jackson completed his Chelsea medical ahead of a move that will come in at just above £30m, with the 21-year-old set to join from Serie A side Villarreal.

Many Chelsea fans have been left wondering whether Jackson will be the only striker arriving at Stamford Bridge this summer and whether he will be the main man to take the reigns up top.
But Sky Sports believe, as cited below, that a long-term view should be adopted for the signing of Jackson, and that people should not be surprised to see another new No.9 arrive at the club this summer as well as Jackson.

A new striker has been a priority at Chelsea for some time now since the departure of Romelu Lukaku after that big money move didn’t work out. Lukaku is technically still a Chelsea player of course, but that is expected to be for much longer now.
