The Times: Manchester United still not budging on Mason Mount offer

Some breaking news this afternoon comes from The Times, who claim that Manchester United are digging their heels in on Mason Mount and will not budge on their current offer.

Early today, Fabrizio Romano reported that Chelsea and Manchester United will be having face-to-face talks about Mount, and perhaps now those talks have been concluded with United telling Chelsea they will not pay the asking price for Mount.

Sources on Midfield: Matheus Nunes, Dominik Szoboszlai, Moises Caicedo, Mohammed Kudus, Romeo Lavia, plus outgoings!

So if these talks have already taken place, is this the end of this saga and does Mount now stay at Chelsea?

It’s certainly opened the door to an interesting ending to this saga, with no other clubs seemingly putting offers on the table for him as of yet at least.

But the Times report is clear, and that is that Manchester United will NOT raise their £55M offer for Mason Mount.

It’s Chelsea’s move now, so let’s see if they accept that offer, or close the door on the potential deal.

  1. I think chelsea can protect their image in the transfer market of still having their demands met with this mount transfer and not soft pedalling

Why on earth would man u drop a take it or leave it cash on the table for chelsea…..we are not taking it either are we begging for a transfer!

They must meet our demands or use the door!
