Trevoh Chalobah in Italy to scope out possible transfer destinations

Trevoh Chalobah is one of the Chelsea players being strongly linked with a move away from the club this summer.

He’s home grown and not a guaranteed first team starter, and that makes him a prime candidate for a sale. We’ve heard of a few clubs in Italy interested after the success of Trevoh’s old academy colleagues in Serie A, and he has set tongues wagging this week by going on holiday to Italy.

Sources at Football London insist that this trip is not to meet with any clubs specifically – it’s just a holiday. But on the other hand he’s apparently also scoping out the country (and Milan in particular) to see if it’s somewhere he’d like to live. So in some ways, it is very much transfer related.

We still think selling the 23 year old is a mistake given his versatility and his background as a dedicated home grown player with lots of ability and potential – but the club are in such a financial mess now that they may feel they have no option but to cash in, especially if they can involve him in some sort of part exchange deal with a player they want.

  1. I really don’t understand why Chelsea wants to offload Chalobah given the fact that he’s one of successful academy players from England. Players like him(Chalobah), Conor Gallagher, Levy Colwil,Lewis Hall, Reece James,Noni Madueke, Raheem Sterling ,Ian Maatsen and Tammy Abraham should be core in the rebuild of the team.

  2. Team need to have quality prayers,if we do exchange with better player and pay little cash it’s okay, next season is demanding season I hope cucullera must also go.victor oshmen is an ideal striker
