Christopher Nkunku looks like a great signing for Chelsea. He’s dynamic, creative, can score goals and create them too. He was the Bundesliga’s top scorer last season and if we hadn’t wrapped up a deal for him a year ago, we’d be paying a lot more than we actually are.
But you could have said the same thing about Timo Werner when we signed him…
Luckily, someone who knows very well has insisted that Nkunku will not be “Timo Werner 2.0,” Julien Laurens on Alex Goldberg’s podcast.
