We love Gab Marcotti as a pundit. He is intelligent and treats his audience as intelligent too. He’s not any kind of transfer insider, he just makes logical educated assessments and reaches sensible conclusions.
When he was on ESPN this morning, he was asked about the Blues chances of signing Dusan Vlahovic. He made some interesting points in favour of the out of sorts Juventus striker, but also said that there was one potential stumbling block – the Serbian forward’s agents are “tough guys to deal with,” meaning it was unlikely that the Blues would be able to get his big wages down.
