Brazilian will join Strasbourg “next week” after promising preseason with Chelsea

Chelsea’s signing of Angelo Gabriel came out of nowhere last month, and the Brazilian was on your with the Blues just days after we heard the whispers of a potential transfer.

He got to train with the first team and even make appearances in the friendly games we played out in the USA. But the plan has always been for him to spend this season playing for our new sister club Strasbourg, and Fabrizio Romano has reiterated today that this is the case.

He says that now our tour is over and the players are preparing to gather at Cobham for training tomorrow, the wheels are in motion for loans like Angeo Gabriel’s to get underway.

The youngster will presumably join Strasbourg at some point this coming week, giving him the maximum time possible to start integrating into a new setup. Romano adds that Chelsea will do a similar thing with striker Deivid Washington when he signs.

  1. Starling will cause us alot of losing this season,
He doesn’t pass the best ball he doesn’t not mark the opponent.
He doesn’t shoot.. Infect he’s lazy full stop.
Lazy prayer that ever played at chelsea swear

  2. Why don’t Chelsea put Sterling out on loan and keep this promising young player, keeping Sterling on Chelsea books is a joke, why can’t anyone at Chelsea see he needs to be sold.Chelsea need to put more effort in getting rid of him than signing new players.

  3. Chelsea FC should not send this pure fix right winger. No way is Chelsea loaning him out. We keep talking about the future and not this present season. Santos should be loaned out of the two. Casadei should be staying put as well. Mohammed Kudus, Ward Prowse, Onana and Amrabat should be prioritized instead of just caicedo as the squad needs more depth in midfield who can provide for more options and formation tweaking. Olise and musiala should also be wearing the blue jersey this season. Then will we be ready.
