Chelsea still want Michael Olise despite new contract being signed

A bizarre report this afternoon is suggesting that Chelsea still have Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise as a club target despite him signing a contract extension with the London club just last week.

This one a real saga. Chelsea triggered his release clause but for whatever reason have not yet managed to sign him. Then he ended up signing a contract extension at Palace and presumably the release clause was changed to a higher fee.

Sources: SIX attackers Chelsea are considering still THIS transfer window!

But that has not ended Chelsea’s interest in Olise apparently, well at least not according to The Daily Mail.

They claim that Olise remains a Chelsea target but the £50 million-rated winger is thought to prefer Tottenham and recently signed a new deal at Crystal Palace.

Prefers Tottenham? Interesting, the story gets even crazier!

Surely he wont be leaving the club this window now and any move or interest from clubs will have to wait until a later date.

  1. They should also consider an experienced winger who will give more crosses.

Someone who’s been in the industry such as Lorenzo insigne from Torino.
