Chelsea have officially announced another new signing this summer, as the incomings stack up.

Today though, the club have announced via their official channels that 18-year-old striker Deivid Washington arrives from Brazilian side Santos after completing his medical and paperwork at the club.

Washington is likely to end up going out on loan straight away, but he certainly looks like another top prospect for the future, and Chelsea have been stacking those up for the last year or so.
The teenage forward has signed a seven-year contract, with the option of a further year, following a breakout season in South America.
Washington can play anywhere across the line in the final third but predominately operates as a striker. He sealed his transfer earlier today and the Brazilian becomes Chelsea’s latest summer addition.
