Nicolas Jackson was once again the big winner from Chelsea’s friendly last night. Strength, pressing, linkup play and deadly threat on the break – no matter who was playing in the attack with him, Jackson made them look better.
His preseason has been superb, and before he’s kicked a competitive ball for Chelsea there’s already a strong feeling
Marc Cucurella on the other hand only came on in the second half, and once again contributed very little other than mistakes. His silly pass right to Julian Brandt could have led to a goal directly – instead it just led to the corner from which Dortmund scored. Not a great result.
Cucurella continues to play his way out of favour, with his best ever performance coming in his first game for us, and things going downhill since.
Jackson on the other hand has done more than anyone could have hoped to impress in just a handful of friendly games.
It is best to sell cucurella. He is not up to Chelsea standard. He is a disaster.
FOR CHRISTS SAKE GET RID OF CUCURELLA.
SEND HIM BACK TO BRIGHTON AS A SWAP, OR FLOG HIM TO SOMEONE ELSE. HE IS NOT FIT TO WEAR A CHELSEA SHIRT. HOW MANY MORE COCK UPS THAT WILL COST US POINTS DO YOU NEED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cucu is just not good enough to play ▶ for chelsea. The transfer was a scam by Chuck Norris
Sterling is every bit as bad as Cucurella, both should go.
