Sources poor cold water over Chelsea’s interest in player but it might be their only choice

We are now running out of time in the transfer window this summer, and we will soon be entering the final week when often all the drama really begins.

Chelsea’s transfer window has been fully dramatic the entire time and they have a very new looking squad, but it is set to get even more dramatic with some big deals and business still to be done.

Sources: SIX attackers Chelsea are considering still THIS transfer window!

Romelu Lukaku is STILL at the club and is training with the Under-21s currently, that is according to The Telegraph today.

His only option still right now is a return to Juventus but there has yet to be an agreement found for that to happen.

Juventus are to sanction a deal unless they can get striker Dusan Vlahovic off the wage bill, per the report.

They then go on to mention Chelsea’s apparent interest in Vlahovic and how a swap deal could still transpire despite sources throwing water over the Vlahovic to Chelsea interest.

They say that sources’ pessimism may be tested if Juventus reduce the fee for the Serb even further and a solution to his costly wages can be found.

This could end up being Chelsea’s only option to get rid of Lukaku and get a new striker in themselves, which it still looks like they want to do.

  1. Vlahovic don’t want to come to Chelsea FC . He ask for high wages . Even Chelsea FC want him . Hope they find solution to get rid off that Lukaku .

  2. Gosh, just get rid of Lukaku. Drop the price if we have to in order to rid ourselves of that cancer. QUESTION: how can we let that cancer train with our youth?

  3. No one, outside of Saudi Arabia, values Lukaku (thanks in large part to his off-field duplicity), so it’s hard to get rid of a player nobody wants around their first team. I’m not altogether certain we need to buy another attacker, but if we are in the market for one then we shouldn’t be targeting a player (Vlahovic) simply to get rid of Lukaku. We need to go after the player Poch believes can best serve his vision. If, in the event we got for Balogun for example, Lukaku rots for a year with U-21s then so be it. It will serve as a powerful message to the next player who signs a Chelsea contract and attempts to renege on on it.
