Manchester United are emerging as clear rivals for Chelsea as they look to try and sign Antonio Nusa.
The 18 year old Club Brugge striker almost moved this summer but has stayed put in Belgium to continue developing. When he does decide to go, it’s starting to look like there will be quite the battle for his signature.
Caughtoffside are reporting that Man U are just as interested as we are, with Real Madrid and Arsenal also linked in the past.
Chelsea’s need up front is most pressing, and one would feel that had Nusa come to us in the summer, he might already be getting chances. The problem is that it now looks likely we move for an experienced option up top in January, and that would make Nusa third choice behind Nicolas Jackson and the new man, potentially Ivan Toney.
If he ends up smashing it at Man U, we may end up regretting not being able to persuade him to join us back in August.
