Enzo disappoints with 6.6 performance, one Chelsea player gets an 8

Enzo Fernandez was awarded just a 6.6 by WhoScored’s rating system after disappointing against Bournemouth.

The Argentine midfielder looked jaded after a tough international break playing in Argentina, and he was taken off after 81 minutes where he struggled to create in the same way we’ve seen in other games this season. Lewis Cook and Phillip Billing did a great job clogging up our play between the lines, and Enzo struggled to find space.

A week off now should do him good, and once again our lack of European football should help as once again try to get this cursed season off and running. We need Enzo at his creative best if we’re to score any goals at all, it seems.

The top rated Chelsea player in the end was Robert Sanchez with an impressive 8.0, and that’s a decision not many would disagree with. He’s perhaps the only player in Mauricio Pochettino’s team to be able to walk away saying he raised his profile in the game.
