Former Chelsea boss is now ‘prime target’ to become Lyon manager

Another surprise managerial story this morning after news that John Terry could head to Saudi to manage, is based around another former Chelsea man.

Graham Potter had an absolutely torrid time as Chelsea boss after replacing Thomas Tuchel last season, joining from Brighton.

Sources: What Mauricio Pochettino has done different to Frank Lampard this international break!

Things went from very bad to very worse for Potter at Chelsea and he has since been without a job and taking some time out of football.

Could he now be set to return?

Well, according to reports in France, as cited below, Potter has been in talks with Lyon over replacing Laurent Blanc as their manager.

Lyon owner John Textor reportedly met with Graham Potter earlier this week.

A lot like when he joined Chelsea, Lyon are going through a torrid time right now. They are yet to win in 4 league games this season and sit rock bottom of Ligue 1.

I’m not so sure that it would be the right move for Potter in all honesty!
