It was interesting to hear what Mauricio Pochettino had to say about Raheem Sterling in his interview with the BBC today, as the winger continues his strong start to the season.
Sterling had been very complimentary about Pochettino when asked about the manager’s impact on his game, and the coach returned the compliment, noting that “he was a player we hated” when he and his assistants were working at Southampton and Tottenham.
Now, the two are pulling in the same direction, and it seems to be working well…
