After a successful few years at Crystal Palace, Marc Guehi looks to be preparing to move on.
The 23 year old took to Premier League football like a to duck to water, leaving the Chelsea academy and slotting right in at Palace. Since then he’s racked up a lot of appearance in the top flight and never looked out of place.
It seems that this summer will be when he takes his move up the ladder, and the Sun are among those outlets reporting that top teams are interested.
We would rule Chelsea out on the basis that we’re so stocked at centre back, but we’re listed among the interested teams here, and if we sell Trevoh Chalobah in January and plan for Thiago Silva to leave, there may well be a space developing.
Whether we will be able to compete with the other top teams over price is another major question mark – Palace apparently want to break their existing sale record of £50m.
