Two Chelsea players have been called up to the French squad for this international break.
Malo Gusto is in the squad to replace Jules Kounde, and Axel Disasi to replace Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano.
Mauricio Pochettino won’t be too delighted – he’d rather have them around the training ground working with him – but it’s great for him.

There’s a strong French speaking contingent at Chelsea, and these two are looking to become part of the core of their national side as well as Pochettino’s plans. Injuries have allowed both of them to play far more than they might have expected upon their arrival this summer, and both have bene largely impressive.
