CaughtOffside are today reporting some rather interesting news about Inter Milan left back Federico Dimarco.
The website says that Chelsea are enquiring about how much it would take to make a transfer happen, although the Italy international is still expected to sign a new contract with Inter.
Manchester City are also mentioned as a team with interest in the talented 25 year old. He’s really established himself in recent seasons as one of the better players in Europe in that position.
At the moment the position is pretty logjammed in our squad – but Ben Chilwell is out injured, Marc Cucurella has had some very dodgy moments and Ian Maatsen is seemingly looking to leave, while Levi Colwill’s future is in the centre of defence.
So while things are clearly pretty busy there now, we can quite clearly see a situation where 2 or even 3 of those players are gone by next August.
