It’s probably been a little while since we could boast that a Chelsea player was in anyone’s Premier League team of the week such is the poor start to the season they made.

But they have now won two games in a row, one in the League Cup knocking Brighton out, and then one in the Premier League on Monday evening beating Fulham 2-0 in their own backyward.

Levi Colwill was superb in the game, as was every Chelsea player really. To be honest, we might have been close to seeing more than just Colwill in Alan Shearer’s Premier League team of the week this week, which you can see here:
