Chelsea lost at home to Brentford on Saturday to come crashing back down to earth after a few good performances and results beforehand.
It was the same tired old story for The Blues, they were dominating possession all game and should have had the game dead and buried by half time. But unfortunately the one thing you need to do to win football matches is score goals, and Chelsea once again failed to do that.
Brentford got back in to it, sniffed a goal coming, got the goal and went on to win the game.
Chelsea just simply cannot win games at Stamford Bridge right now and have only won one game there in the last 13 – that’s unacceptable at any standard and for any club, especially Chelsea.
