We were all expecting Mykhailo Mudryk to start against Brentford on Saturday, so it was a real surprise when he wasn’t in the team at all. It was assumed to be a minor problem, but then he was included on the club’s injury report released earlier today, listed as “undergoing a rehabilitation programme” without any specific detail.
There was some panic his problem might be bad, but Mauricio Pochettino has just spoken to the press and revealed that the Ukraine star should be ready for next Monday’s game against Tottenham in the Premier League.
He wasn’t making any major claims, but his “maybe” was all the confirmation we needed that whatever problem he has isn’t too serious.

Pochettino noted that the game would come too soon for Christopher Nkunku, which doesn’t surprise us at all. We wouldn’t expect to see him for a month or more, given how long he’s been out.
