There has been further reactions from Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino following the home defeat to Brentford on Saturday lunchtime.
Stamford Bridge is far from the fortress that it once was, and the team just cannot seem to get any kind of consistency at their home ground these days.
Losing at home to Brentford was just another example of how things have been going during a turmoil last few seasons at Chelsea.
The new ownership have come in with big ambitions, but they will be hoping to soon see the fruition of their investment into the club.
There must have been embargoed quotes from Pochettino that came out late last night, which you can see below.
Losing to Brentford has left Chelsea on a barren run of one home league win in 13 matches.
Having previously dismissed the impact of Chelsea’s legacy problems, Pochettino now accepts that some issues remain.
“Yes, it is something we need to fix,” he said of his team’s woes as cited by The Evening Standard. “We have tried to identify [it]. But it not only happened this season but also last season with different coaches.
“I don’t say I am worried but I feel I need to find the solution. I think we need to be more mature, we are still so young as a team, I don’t mean the age of the players but as a team, we need to be better.”
