Chelsea are starting to come together now as a team piece by piece as the season advances.
It was a tough start for a new and young team under a new manager, but things are beginning to come together and really, they should be here right now celebrating a big win over London rivals and title challengers Arsenal.
They had to settle with just one point of course after throwing away a 2-0 lead through their own mistakes, but things are really starting to improve now and Chelsea are starting to turn into a proper team.
They’ve signed some top players who have come in and made a difference already, and one of them is certainly Cole Palmer who arrived from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the final days of the summer transfer window.
And Sky pundit Gary Neville has been raving about Palmer this week after his fine display against Arsenal.
As cited by HITC, Neville said: “I have to say, Palmer has been wonderful. He’s dropping deeper now and dictating the game.
“In moments like these, at Chelsea you want composure and Cole Palmer’s upbringing at City will give him that – he just looks so graceful out there on the ball.”
