Jason Cundy had to take out his frustrations on Talksport this morning after watching another dire Chelsea showing at the weekend. He narrowed down our problem to a lack of a striker, and his co-host responded by moaning to Cundy “you say this every week.”
He does keep saying it every week – but that’s because it’s the same problem every week. In fact, one could argue it’s two years of this problem or more. Even when we were functioning well with Thomas Tuchel in charge, that was despite a lack of a consistent goalscorer rather than because of it.
