Chelsea discussing bringing back one of two former players

Chelsea are reportedly discussing bringing back one of two of their former players in one of the upcoming transfer windows.

According to SPTC, the Chelsea hierarchy have been pondering whether to make a move to sign one of their former defenders recently.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea will move again to sign player they were very close to signing in the summer!

Seemingly, the club are weighing up options to sign a new centre back either in the January transfer window or in the summer after, with doubts over the future of Thiago Silva, and an expectation that Trevoh Chalobah will soon be sold by the club.

And the report claims that Chelsea are eyeing up Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, or Fikayo Tomori of AC Milan, both of which used to play for Chelsea.

Tomori left the club under Frank Lampard and is apparently open to a return. And Chelsea hold an option to match any offers for Guehi should they arrive, in a sort of first refusal clause.
