The Athletic’s reliable football news reporter David Ornstein has spoken out about Chelsea’s transfer plans this week.
And he claims that there is one position that the club will definitely not be signing in anytime soon.

Chelsea have been rumoured to be looking at a few positions lately in the view to signing more players in the next couple of transfer windows, with striker and centre back mentioned a lot.
But one position they will not be signing in is a new goalkeeper, reports Ornstein, as cited by Chels HQ this week.
He says Chelsea are happy with their current pair of senior goalkeepers in Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic, and there are no plans to sign a new No1 in the near future.
Sanchez has largely been doing well at Chelsea albeit with a couple of shaky moments. And Petrovic is yet to even make a single appearance for the club since signing in the summer.
