“He expressed” – What Mauricio Pochettino told Chelsea player in the summer

Mauricio Pochettino is known to be a very good man manager and is particular good at developing younger players.

He would have come in to Chelsea in the summer and had conversations with a lot of players when he first arrived at the club.

EXCLUSIVE! Victor Osimhen’s stance on whether he wants to join Chelsea or not – plus Chelsea’s current stance on signing him!

And one player who he spoke to has gone on to become a key player for the Argentine boss, and it is perhaps not the player that everyone would have predicted to have such an effect at the start of the season.

Conor Gallagher has made himself und-droppable in this current Chelsea team, and Pochettino has had a really great effect on that.

Gallagher, whilst away with the England national side, has been speaking about Chelsea in an interview cited by The Guardian this week.

He reveals that in conversations with Pochettino over the summer, the Blues boss told him that he liked Gallagher as a player.

“It was a crazy period in terms of ins and outs,” Gallagher said about the summer. “I had conversations with the manager and he expressed that he liked me as a player and I was in his plans. I was really happy.”
