One former Chelsea player has been questioning a bit of potential transfer business this week.
As we know, not all of Chelsea’s recent signings have been good, and some of them from the first summer of the new owners being in charge have been sold already.
Players like Kalidou Koulibaly just could not settle and adapt in the Premier League and in a different country, and sometimes that is just how these things go.
Glen Johnson is wondering the same about Victor Osimhen and whether he might not adapt very well to Premier League football because let’s be honest, it is a very different league to anywhere else.
Chelsea have been heavily linked with having interest in signing Osimhen in 2024 so he has really become the topic of conversation and debate amongst Blues fans right now, as well as former players it seems.
You can see Johnson’s comments here…
Glen Johnson: "I’m not sure if Victor Osimhen would adapt to the Premier League straight away. It would be easier to say yes if they were the #Chelsea of old, as he would have been walking into an established team."
