Chelsea’s recruitment plan has been revealed by a top journalist this week as we approach another transfer window.
December is now close, which means one thing for football fans – a super busy Christmas schedule and then the January transfer window opening at the end of that.

There are plenty of rumours circulating around right now and Chelsea are expected to be at the very least, looking into the market at potential opportunities for the winter and whether they want to add any more players to improve the squad for the rest of this season.
They have been known for buying young and relatively unproven players so far, but that could change when they look at a new striker.
That is according to top journalist Ben Jacobs, who has been writing in his latest exclusive and extensive Chelsea newsletter for SPTC yesterday.
He says they are looking for a more established striker.

Jacobs says: “A quick word on the search for a striker ahead of January. I am still told the same thing: Chelsea are in no rush. They want an elite striker in 2024 – someone a bit more established rather than a young prospect. That means potentially looking at mid-20s players rather than only ones in their early 20s or teens.”
