Real Madrid boss names two things he loves about Chelsea target

Carlo Ancelotti is preparing his Real Madrid team to take on Napoli tonight, and we all know that the real strength of the Italian side is up top.

Chelsea have been tracking striker Victor Osimhen for some time – so have the rest of Europe’s top clubs. We’re willing to bet that Madrid have scouted him as a potential signing, rather than just as an upcoming opposition.

Ancelotti spoke in his press conference yesterday about the prospect of facing the team he once managed, and he picked out Osimhen as their main threat, praising two particular aspects of the Nigeria striker’s game:

Victor Osimhen is a complete attacker, very strong with his head and in transitions. We took all this into account in the first leg, and we will try to take it into account tomorrow too,” he said to Sky Italia.

Those are two things which Chelsea could dearly do with. We’re sure a few Blues will be tuning in to watch the game tonight and imagining what damage the big man could do up top for Mauricio Pochettino’s team too. It’s been a while since we had a really damaging threat in the air, and our transitions at the moment couldn’t be less efficient…
