Chelsea’s bumpy season continued over the weekend and just when we all thought a positive corner had been turned, they go and get thrashed 4-1 by Newcastle United.
It wasn’t even as if The Toon played that well, it was more Chelsea imploding and folding over in the second half and just being terrible on the pitch.
Mauricio Pochettino was forced to watch from the stands after being suspended, but he watched on in vain to see his team lose yet again.
So is he now under pressure? Is his job at risk? No, according to Fabrizio Romano on his latest YouTube video as seen below.
He says: “The feedback is still the same on Chelsea’s side, and they trust Mauricio Pochettino. They believe he is the right man for this project. It’s a young team, and they need time. His job is not at risk at this point.”
