One Chelsea player will soon be back doing a really important job for the club very soon, according to a journalist this week.
The Blues have a lot of returning players from injury coming back in to the fold very soon in what will be a huge boost for Mauricio Pochettino as he looks to get results and climb back up the league table.
The expectations are high at Chelsea, and Pochettino will need to be pushing for those European places even if it is Europa League.
Captain Reece James recently returned from a long-term injury once again, but now he is out suspended after being sent off against Newcastle United last weekend.
A lot has been said about it since and some have even doubted his credentials as Chelsea captain. I think that’s a massive overreaction personally, and I tend to agree with journalist Paul Brown here.
In words cited by Chels HQ, Brown said: “As long as Reece James’ head is in the right place, his form improves, and he stays clear of injury, I think he’ll be back and doing a really important job for Chelsea over the next few months.”
