In true Chelsea style, a player they have been targeting this month has now gone down injured, according to reports.
I guess its a case that anyone even close or linked to Chelsea these days gets effected by the injury curse! I genuinely believe it could now be a thing.

The Blues have been strongly linked to wanting to sign Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran over the last 24 hours, but those intentions may not have to be shelved.
Matt Law of The Telegraph, amongst other top sources, all reported that Chelsea were considering making a move for Duran last night.

But they might now have to take him away from their considerations, with the below report stating that the 20-year-old is set to be out now for several weeks. I guess it doesn’t rule it out entirely, but ti certainly makes it a lot less likely now.
