Chelsea have been tipped to make another huge money signing in the coming days, weeks, or even months.
As we know, The Blues need a new striker and they have been looking at a number of potential different options of late and have been linked with a host of names.
EXCLUSIVE! 5 left backs now on Chelsea’s radar, plus general January transfer plans as things HEAT UP!
Any elite striker is going to cost a lot of money in the current market, make no mistake. So if Chelsea truly want and need a new prolific and proven option, they are going to probably have to spend another £100m on one single player, and maybe even more so if we are looking at the likes of Victor Osimhen with his big money release clause.
Brighton’s Even Ferguson is also on Chelsea’s radar, and due to the fact he has just signed a long new contract, a lot like what happened with Moises Caicedo, if Chelsea really want him then they will need to pay big to get him.
Journalist Ben Jacobs has the latest on Ferguson today in his exclusive and extensive Chelsea FC column for SPTC.

Jacobs said: “Evan Ferguson is another option appreciated [by Chelsea]. It is not beyond the realms of possibility Chelsea try to raid Brighton once again this summer. But Ferguson did only recently sign a new long-term deal.”

Personally, I don’t think it would be wise to spend 100m on a striker, (a) because Nicolas Jackson is already a very serviceable option and will form a very dangerous partnership once Nkunku is healthy and (b) another 100m signing will almost certainly require the sale of Gallagher.
BUT, if we are going to spend 100m then it had better be on a PROVEN, world-class finisher. Osimhen fits this bill. Ferguson most certainly does not.
