Axel Disasi had to slide back to right back today to cover for the absent Malo Gusto, something the Frenchman has done many times this season.
We were worried that would limited out attacking play down the right, but instead Disasi scored one goal and helped set up another.
Speaking after the game he said he “felt free” down his side, and he certainly took advantage of that with some rampaging runs into Boro’s half. It was a great night for him and for a lot of other players, and we’re delighted for Axel.

"I missed three sitters in the first game so it was always in the back of my mind" 🧠
