Chelsea bid for 2003 born striker looks almost inevitable – AC Milan could be outbid

What is every football fan’s favourite way to ease the pain of bad results? Thinking about transfers. Your team is always just a couple of smart signings away from being a contender, and that’s true even for Chelsea fans who have seen their previously strong side eroded by constant new faces.

That won’t stop us dreaming however – and the idea that we are interested in RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko is certainly an interesting one.

The forward is developing into the sort of solid all round striker we would love, and will available at a lower price than the truly elite options like Victor Osimhen – despite having the potential to be just as good.

Milan Live are reporting on AC Milan’s interest in him, but they claim that the Italian giants’ main obstacle is Chelsea’s desire to sign the Slovenian.

We will see where our sights turn come this summer, but a bid for Sesko looks almost inevitable as we desperately look to upgrade up front.
