One current Chelsea player is reportedly in a race to be fit for Sunday’s Carabao Cup final showdown with Liverpool.
The days are running out now as we hit midweek, and the nerves, anticipation, and excitement is building up for another domestic cup final for Chelsea and Liverpool fans at Wembley.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add Bayern Munich striker to summer shortlist! Also key updates on Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, Ollie Watkins, Benjamin Sesko, Ivan Toney and Alexander Isak….
Both sides have big injury issues to contend with, and Chelsea have been suffering with a long injury list for years now. Liverpool have seemingly joined them with those issues lately.
Thiago Silva will be doing all he can to at least try and make the bench on Sunday so he can be involved in a cup final for Chelsea and hopefully be able to take part in lifting a trophy, if of course they can get past the tough task of beating Liverpool.
But right now, per The Daily Mail, Silva’s groin issue is leaving him in a race to be fit for Sunday’s Carabao Cup final showdown with Liverpool – potentially his last chance at correcting his Wembley Stadium winless streak.
