Chelsea’s top rated player in 3-1 was not Enzo or Conor Gallagher

Chelsea roared to a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa last night, with a few players really impressing.

Conor Gallagher has played really well for a lot of this season without getting the goal his performances deserved. Last night he opened the scoring and was excellent after that.

Enzo Fernandez had a similar release – he fought back against talk of him wanting to leave with a statement performance and a wonderful free kick.

But according to WhoScored’s stats neither of these two were Chelsea’s best player. They rated Nico Jackson, our other goalscorer, as the pick of the bunch with 8.22 out of 10.

Deployed on the left wing, Jackson was a real menace, and he indirectly set up the first goal as well as scoring the second. He made 4 key passes in the game, but his defensive efforts were superb too – 2 interceptions, and a tackle as he worked his tail off down the left wing.

That’s the requirement they need to win , Mentality aka Kobe Bryant Mamba mentality .this are young team but full of talent , all they need to do despite of their talent , always ready in physical game . Play togetherness . Hope they build that win through the season after season . God bless Chelsea FC .
