There was one surprise late transfer deal at Chelsea though that looked like it was going to get done, but in the end it didn’t.

However, as reported by L’Equipe below, Chelsea and Le Harve failed to reach and agreement and the defender stays to rot at Chelsea some more.

How can you characterize it as a “failure” to get a #9 in this window when the #9 we want, Osimhen, won’t be available until the summer? What precisely would you have had the directors do? Go off half-cocked with another poorly conceived half-measure? Or wait and get it right by landing a truly world class striker?
