Former Blues captain claims “players don’t want to come to Chelsea”

Just when we start to see some positives at Chelsea, things always seem to slip back down the slope once again.

I don’t think anyone expected full consistency from this young and newly built squad this season, but so far the improvements have just not been bast enough and there has been such a contrast between week on week performances.

EXCLUSIVE! All the transfer deals, plans, and potential ins and outs that Chelsea HAVE been considering this window!

Of course there have been some encouraging signs and improvements along the way, but then they will go and completely fold over like they did against Liverpool last night, getting thrashed by them at Anfield in the Premier League.

One of the many issues they have face in my opinion is lack of leaders and proven players. I don’t necessarily think it’s a lack of experienced players, because as we know, there can be such thing as bad experience. But I do think we have lacked proven players in this league, players with winning mentalities and leadership skills, and I think that is what former Chelsea captain Frank Leboeuf is getting at below.

As cited on X, the ESPN pundit said:

“I would stick with Mauricio Pochettino and sign some experienced players. The problem is, experienced players don’t want to come to Chelsea.

“Can you believe that Djordje Petrovic had a good game? It could have been worse.”
