Back before Christmas, brilliant youth talent Pape Douda Diong was spotted at Stamford Bridge watching the cup game against Newcastle.
That led to plenty of speculation that the rangy Senegalese would be coming to join the Blues, but things went quiet.
In the end, a deal has been agreed to take him him to our sister club Strasbourg in the summer. We’re sure he will come to Stamford Bridge one day if he fulfils his potential.
Until the summer however, it seems Diong will be training with the first team. He was pictured there today, and it gives the coaches a nice change to see him in action.
