They have to go to Manchester City and attempt to get a result against Pep Guardiola’s City team, a team who have just been fantastic in recent years.

EXCLUSIVE! Inside Chelsea’s early plans for the summer transfer window – will they spend big again and what positions are they looking at? News on Sesko, Osimhen, Gyokeres, Toney, Robinson, Davies, Kilman, Andersen, Guehi, Diomande, Todibo, and much more!

Mauricio Pochettino and his players will have to go there and give everything they physically have in order to come away with something in this game, but they do now have the momentum and confidence of the last two games with them.

Cole Palmer, who has been Chelsea’s star man so far this season, was of course a City player last season until he signed for Chelsea in the summer. So it will be a return to the Etihad Stadium for the young attacker.

Palmer has admitted that it was be strange to return there on Saturday, but he is excited and looking forward to it all the same!

In words quoted via the Chelsea website, Palmer said: “It will be a tough game but I’m looking forward to going back to the Etihad. t will be strange, a weird feeling, but I’m looking forward to it and the team’s looking forward to it.

“I’m very excited to be honest, even though it will be strange. Obviously I played against them at Stamford Bridge, but I think going back to the Etihad will be even stranger. But I’m really looking forward to it.”
